Both Inter Milan and Juventus has won their two first Serie A matches of the 2013/2014 season.

Inter didn’t shine against Genoa in their first game when they won 2-0, but on September 1^st they looked strong against Catania. Under former Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri they seem to be back to winning ways. However, I do think they’ll experience swings this season like they did last when they ended 9^th. The generational shift needed at Inter was massive, and it’s not done overnight. Veterans Chievu and Zanetti are both still out.

Juventus has a fantastic squad, and they play good football no doubt about it. They’ll also be confident going into this tie having won here two Serie A matches in a row. No major selection worries for Conte to handle. Marchisio and Caceres are the only two likely to be missing.

Mazzarri has organized this Inter Milan side very well already, and I think they can contain Juventus much better than Lazio could. However, with Juventus having Tevez, Llorente, Vucinic, Giovinco and Quagliarella to choose from up front one can only expect Juventus to score every Serie A game. Inter Milan has looked rock solid in defense and highly organized in the middle of the park, but up front I think Palacio isn’t enough to make a difference.
