TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY
Cagliari again have to lay in an empty stadium as it has still not been deemed fit for the public. This will have a huge effect for Cagliari who again surrender home advantage. Davide Astori should return to the starting line up. Marco Sau presses for a start after impressing off the bench. Coach Massimo Ficcadenti is under extreme pressure to pick up points as his job is on the line in this only the fourth game of the season. How any coach can work under such pressure is beyond me. The team is very solid and has shown already they can fight for points but they offer little up front.
Roma are experiencing a few problems on the pitch, after taking a 2-0 lead at home they managed to concede three unanswered goals and let Bologna take the points. Injuries to influential captain Francesco Totti plus Daniele De Rossi, Michael Bradley, Dodo and Bogdan Lobont will affect Roma and Zeman must chose between Osvaldo, Erik Lamela and Dani Lopez to see up will line up alongside Mattia Destro.

3.75 on The Draw (Pinnacle) is a massive price in any game never mind an Italian Serie A match. With the draw as low as 3.20 in places its the bet here between to closely matched sides. Roma are beset by injuries, and Cagliari are struggling somewhat. I believe Ficcadenti will survuive another day with a draw against Roma and he will set his side up to defend. Against a Zeman led Roma this is a hugely difficult task but one worth trying.

Under goals 2.55 (BetVictor) may seem crazy when Zeman lines a team up but I can see a very close game here with Cagliari trying to kill the game from the off. Roma will attack for 90 minutes but Cagliari are capable of defending. They offer a small threat offensively and Roma give chances with their very high line but the under is too tempting at 2.55 for me.
