PARMA - FIORENTINA PREDICTION STATS

Parma have had a mixed start to the season with only 1 win and 2 losses. They won their home game with Chievo 2-0 but lost their two away ties to Juve and Napoli by two clear goals. However they have only kept 1 clean sheet. They are averaging 2.67 goals per game.
Fiorentina have two homes wins and 1 away loss to start off the season. They have beaten Udinese 2-1 and Catania 2-0. In their only away fixture they travelled to Napoli and duly lost 2-1. They have one clean sheet so far and average goal per game stands at 2.67 goals per match.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Parma are a tough team at the Stadio Ennio Tardini and will give most teams a tough game. Coach Donadoni has a wealth of experience and will set his team up to have a real go at Fiorentina. Marco Marchionni is set to make his second debu after resigning last week, Amauri could also run out against his former club but midfielder Jonathan Biabany remains sidelined.
Fiorentina are one of the better sides in Serie A but as always in Italy home comforts are always the order of the day. Away from home points are very difficult to collect, Fiorentina have only played 1 away tie so far with a trip to Naples and not many teams will take points there. Coach Montella has problems with will doubts over El Hamdaoui and Aquilani with  Della Rocca out for sure.

3.06 on The Draw (Pinnacle) is the selection here, This is a really tight game and a case can be made for all outcomes. Parma are really tough at home but Fiorentina are a very capable side and one of the top teams in the "2nd tier" of Italian sides. I think both teams will cancel each other out here and both teams would gladly settle for a point pregame.

ASIAN HANDICAP PREDICTION

Parma with a 0 Handicap are taken at  1.83 with Pinnacle. With the safety of Draw No Bet the home side are taken.  I do not expect Fiorentina to attack much as they will know that Parma are more than capable of picking them off. The home side will do the majority of the attacking and do have quality. I much prefer the selection of Parma with the safety net of money back if a draw.

TOTAL GOALS PREDICTION

Under 2.5 goals 1.73(BetVictor) is the heavy favourite here but Serie A has gone goal mad in the opening weeks.  However I expect this to be a really tight affair and see very little seperating the two teams when home advantage is factored in. A low or non scoring draw looks a good thing here and goals expectancy is low for me.
