TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Sampdoria have started off with a perfect 3 wins from 3. If not for the 1 point deduction things would be even better.  Sampdoria’s excellent form has been achieved with wins away at Milan and Pescara and a home victory over Siena. All wins have been by a 1 goal margin so they are just foing enough. Angelo Palombo looks like returning to the fold, the experienced midfielder was transfer listed this summer but failed to find a club.  He woulkd be the ideal replacement for injured Andrea Poli. Keeper  Sergio Romero continues his injury recuperation and  Juan Antonio remains a doubt. Key man is Maxi Lopez, the Argentine looks in supreme form.
Torino have had a low key return to Serie A, quietly going about their business. They have only scored in the one game though and this was against already doomed Pescara so this does not bode well for the Turin side. Torino have no injury worries so should have their best eleven available for Samp.

1X2 BETTING PREDICTION

2.20 on Sampdoria (Willhill) to continue their remarkable start to the season. The home side are playing with such confidence and Maxi Lopez in particular looks increasingly dangerous. Torino look sturdy enough and will keep things tight for sure but I am not convinced about them attacki wise. The price is quite high also and I was expecting a 2.00 home price or possibly a shade of odds on.

Under goals 1.62(StanJames) is the punt here for. Although on the short side and contradicting the current stats for both sides. With total goals standing at 9 and 5 respectivley the stats are muddied by the fact both teams have already played and put 3 past an awful Pescara side.
