Juventus (17-1-1) notched a club record eleventh straight Serie A victory last weekend, to maintain an eight point lead, and set up a potential record breaking season. It wasn’t all plain sailing as they went 1 down at Cagliari, only the second goal conceded in the eleven game stretch, before a roaring second half performance made it 4-1. Sampdoria (5-6-8) with only one loss in seven, have edged away from the danger zone. Mihajlovic has done a sterling job as coach since his arrival, and he would enhance his reputation further if he could plot an unlikely result in Turin. Krsticic and Soriano are suspended for Sampdoria which gives the coach a defensive selection headache he could do without.
