Defeat for Catania (4-8-20) may just about signal their inevitable relegation from the top league, and after last weeks fifth straight defeat, coach Maran was sacked. Former leader Pellegrino has returned, but he needs a miracle in truth, with the side seven points from safety, and no away wins (0-2-14) all season. Milan have De Sciglio(def), Muntari, Essien(mid) and El Shaarawy(str) injured, with Peruzzi(def) suspended for Catania.
