SAMPDORIA V FIORENTINA PREDICTIONS

Sampdoria are looking to move to a potential top half finish while Fiorentina are fight for the final Champions League spot.

Sampdoria are 14^th in Serie A with 38 points from 33 matches.  They are well clear of relegation so have little left to play for but a winning run could move them into the top half which would be an improvement.  Their recent form has been poor however with 3 draws and 2 defeats in their last 5 matches, they’ll look to get back to winning ways at home here.

Fiorentina are 4^th in Serie A with 58 points from 33 matches which leaves them just 1 point behind Milan in 3^rd in the final Champions League spot.  They played Milan a few weeks ago and drew 2-2 but two wins since then, along with Milan losing and drawing has allowed Fiorentina to close the gap.  If they can win here they’d have a great chance of going ahead.

Sampdoria are waiting to see if Icardi, Gastaldello and Mustafi will be fit in time for the game but they’ll definitely be missing Eder and Krsticic.  Fiorentina expect Luca Toni and Stevan Jovetic both to be fit.
