SAMPDORIA – JUVENTUS PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS

Sampdoria had an excellent start to the season last year, in the top positions for the 1^st few months. In the end their great start saved them from relegation as they tailed off badly after the New Year. Sampdoria played some good football throughout the year though and one result of this was a loss of key men to bigger sides. Out went Andrea Poli and Mauro Icardi were very good last year and moved off to better things. However Maxi Lopez leaves without making an impact. Winger Marcelo Estigarribia made an impact but has returned to South America. In comes promising striker Manolo Gabbiadini. Suspensions cause problems for Samp who have squadmen Renan, Vincenzo Fiorillo and Vasco Regini all out.

Juventus were the standout team in Serie A last year and no side got near the tremendous consistency. The side were solid in defence, had the best keeper and boasted the strongest squad by far. It is a huge worry for the rest of Italy that they have strengthened considerably with world class talent. In comes Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente plus really promising central defender Angelo Ogbonna. Out goes Emmanuel Giacherinni. A problem for the 1^st couple of months is the loss of key player Claudio Marchisio with a serious injury. A clean bill of health otherwise.
