TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Siena will be looking for at least a point from an energetic start to the season. This point would see them get off the minus tally given to them in the match fixing case in the summer. With only one loss so far this season and a shock 2-0 win at the San Siro in a result no-one predicted in Italy, Siena well and truly shocked Inter and put down a marker for the season. Siena would be safely tucked in midtable but for the points deductions. Coach Serse Cosmi seems to be using this as a spur to get his team firing. Bologna appeared to have steadied the ship following two early defeats, they really should have taken the points at the weekend in a game they had a man advantage and a penalty chance. Both opportunities were spurned as Pescara ground out their 1st points. although they will feel disappointed not to have capitalised on an early Alberto Gilardino goal .

Visiting 'keeper Mattia Perin's sending off seemed to have handed them three points on a plate, but Alessandro Diamanti missed the resultant penalty.Diamanti is out, so Bologna boss Stefano Pioli may revert to his old favourite, the 3-4-2-1.

With a tight game expected its a bit of surprise to see prices over 1.71 when the actual price should be nearer the 1.60 mark.
