Odd v Start predictions

Odd is 15th in the Tippeliga table with 2-2-5 (2-2-1 at home). They go into this game with 1-1-1 in their last three. They lost away to Sogndal last match day, but before that they played 0-0 at home against Stromsgodset. Start is 2-3-4 so far (0-1-3 away). In their last three they are 0-1-2. Actually they haven't won in five now. Since the teams haven't played competitive games against each other since 2011 I rather not include that data here. Too much water has passed under the bridge. None of the teams have reported squad news worth mentioning.

Odd v Start betting tips

Odd has a young side with some veterans approaching their forties. The youngsters will have to learn from the old guard real quick if Odd is to stay in the Tippeliga. They'll definitely need to be winning games like this against newly promoted Start (won the Adecco League last season). Start could have gotten more out of the game against Viking last time around, but they couldn't convert their chances. For them the key is to get out of the bad run they're currently stuck in. 

For me Odd deserves to be favorite here on the basis of their home record, especially on the 16th of May (17th may independence day celebrations are wild in Norway). I do however think it will be a thriller of a match so I go for the Odd, draw no bet option at Betsson rather than taking the 1X2 odds on offer.
