Motherwell's patchy run continues, they cannot seem to string a couple of wins together. Indeed the last time they did so was in September! Yet the side still sit in third position with a game in hand. They have only two wins in 6 games but are just a point off second. Motherwell have 10 wins, 7 draws and 7 losses but such is the compact nature of the division they are still in with a chance of a top two finish but are only 8 points off second bottom too. Well have a couple out with suspensions: Keith Lasley and Fraser Kerr.

Inverness sit proudly in second but that does not tell all the story. After a brilliant 10 game unbeaten run which included a well deserved victory over Celtic in Glasgow Caley have found themselves without a win in the last three. Overall they have a record of 9 wins, 11 draws and only 5 losses. Only Celtic themselves have lost less games the Inverness. However they must make do without captain Richie Foran and also Chris Hogg and Simon King.

I think the value lies firmly with the home sides after seeing the prices that are available. Motherwell are only 1 point behind their match day rivals yet can be backed at 2.30. This is a huge price for such closely matched teams. Well can be backed as short as 2.00 and although thats slighty short its not far off the correct price. A few key men out for Caley too strengthens the bet. Well at home should just edge this game.
