ST. JOHNSTONE – HEARTS: PREDICTIONS     

Scotland Premiership once more and St Johnstone are up to face relegation haunted Hearts.

St Johnstone are up in the clouds after some sterling work on foreign soil. Wins in Norway against Rosenborg and Belarus against Minsk have seen The Saints to the cusp of Europa League group stages. After the miserable performances from Motherwell and Hibernian it’s a shot in the arm for Scottish football.  After the loss of Steve Lomas to Millwall after the excellent 3^rd place last year fans could be forgiven for worrying themselves. New man Tommy Wright has begun excellently though and fans are looking upwards again. Steve May is the new shining light at Saints and he led the line well against Rosenborg. Key man Frazer Wright misses out suspended while squad men Davey Robertson and Dylan Easton are out.

If Hearts fans thought last year was bad enough they would not believe that this year could be worse. Administration and the 15 points deducted that brings plus a transfer embargo mean the season is up in the air already. Hearts will need a hell of a season just to avoid relegation. Indeed they are as short as 1-2 to be relegated and that could be value! On the other hand all this nonsense could really fire up the side and the fans and we could see a miracle here. The Edinburgh side do possess some talented youngsters and may, just may get themselves to safety.

ST. JOHNSTONE – HEARTS: BETTING TIPS     

Hard one to call this one as Saints are in the middle of a difficult Europa League tie with Minsk and hold a 1-0 lead from the away leg. Hearts are in all sorts of trouble and could be anything. I look to the goals markets and like the both teams to score 2.10. (williamhill) Hearts are not looking for draws even at this stage of the season as they need to go all out from the start. As to wether they are good enough to win games is something we will find out. But scoring shouldn’t be a problem for either side here.
