REAL MADRID v ATLETICO MADRID : 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Copa Del Rey semi finals and it’s the Madrid derby in a mouthwatering tie. Real Madrid have hung on in third place but lost a bit of ground due to a draw in Bilbao. Not many teams will win at San Memes though so for me it’s the expected result. Overall Real Madrid have 17 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats. Ronaldo will play for sure while Gareth Bale returns from injury. Iker Casillas will likely feature too having played in majority of Copa fixtures. Atletico Madrid will seek to make it three consecutive wins over Real Madrid for the 1^st time in their entire history.  Atletico top La Liga with 18 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat.  They are a quality outfit for sure, great side with a top manager.  I just feel this fixture is laid out over 2 legs and that always seems to ruin the cup nature for me. Missing for Atletico is striker David Villa, but Arda Turan returns.

I side with Real Madrid here, if it was a one of tie it would be more difficult to break down. Two legs mean that both sides will play a cagey away leg. Atletico are capable of shutting Madrid down for sure but with Ronaldo and Bale back I believe Real Madrid can take a slender league across town.
