VALENCIA v ATLETICO MADRID : 1x2 BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS
Valencia move up to 8th after a win at home to Levante in a local derby at the weekend. I think Valencia will take this game but with it being a 2 legged affair its not overly important to lose if you want to progress. I have a feeling Atletico Madrid will not be too involved here as they seek to battle on two fronts in the league and Champions League. I see a revamped Atletico side here who will put a few fringe men in for sure. A loss here for them wouldn’t be a bad thing as they can limit games they have to play.
A value play would be a straight up win on Valencia here. I wouldn’t think Diego Simeone will be too displeased to see his side leave the competition and free up some midweek games that are unnecessary when you are fighting of the league and in the knockout stages of Champions League for the 1st time in many years. The Kings Cup is a low priority and one Atletico don’t need. There has been early cash for the home side and I am in full agreement.
