ATLETICO MADRID V REAL BETIS PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Atletico are still second in la liga with 47 points from 21 games.  They are 11 points behind Barcelona and just 4 points ahead of Real Madrid now.  They need to get back to winning ways quickly to keep Real behind them and will hope their 3-0 defeat last week at Bilbao was a one off.

Real Betis are down to 5^th in la liga and after a draw and defeat in their last 2 matches.  They are still even on points with 4^th place Malaga but need to get back to winning ways if they want to have any chance of a Champions League place next season.

Atletico are still going to be missing star striker Radamel Falcao who would be a big miss for any team.  Filipe Luis is also missing through suspension.

Betis injury list is much more substantial with Angel Lopez, Mario, Eder Vilarchao, Pozuelo, Alex Martinez and Juan Carlos all missing.  Six players out would stretch any squad and it’ll be tough for Betis to be able to compete.
