Barcelona look to grab back the league head from Real Madrid with a win here at home. They have 3 wins from 3 matches. Just 4 goals scored and 1 conceded in a fairly quite opening period. Their games were tough though with Bilbao away and Atletico Madrid at home included. Pique is suspended Thomas Vermaelen and Rafinha are both out and possibly long term. Dani Alves is back though and Barce include a new starlet in Gerard Gumbau. Levante make the short trip up the coast in low spirits having not won in three. Two draws (Las Palmas and Sevilla) plus a loss at Celta give the low return of two points and two goals so far. Levante will miss Simao Junior for this one.
The handicap line is set around 2.50 goals which is tough for me. Although Barce should win with ease they had a tough runout in midweek in a 1-1 draw at Roma. I am siding with the “win to nil” market which looks nailed on to me. I cannot see Levante scoring at all. We get a very backable 8/11 or 1.72 with Skybet. Odds are as short as 1.60 or 3/5 elsewhere. When you consider Barcelona to win are around 1.08 or 1/12 that’s a great bet.
