Eibar is up in fifth place so far this season, with 2-1-0 and 5-1 in goal difference. This is quite impressive and one of the biggest surprises this season, as the team ended in 18th place last season. They started by beating Granada 3-1 away, then Athletic Bilbao 2-0 at home, and last weekend they drew 0-0 away to Malaga. They have played well in defence, and using Riesgo as the first goalkeeper seems to have been a good move as they have only conceded one goal. There are no new injuries or suspension, and Ekiza, Lillo and Jimenez are still unavailable. Takashi Inui and Harjovic are available for their debut, so we will see if they get the chance.
Atletico Madrid is in sixth place with two wins and one loss so far. The two wins came against Las Palmas in the season opener and 3-0 away to Sevilla in the second match, while last weekend they lost at home to Barcelona. So a decent start to the season, and if you include European Cups they have two great away results in beating Sevilla and Galatasary recently. No new injuries or suspensions to report among the regular starting XI players.
Atletico Madrid is the clear favourite, and they should win the match without any major problems. Griezmann scored twice in the midweek match against Galatasaray, and he has one goal against Las Palmas and hit the woodwork in the Sevilla match.
