Goals are a problem for Elche too as they have one of the lowest scoring returns in La Liga, just 15 in 14 games.  Key attacker Manu sits out for Elche too which is a blow. Atletico continue to power through their best season for many years. Through to the knockout stages in Champions League and 2^nd in La Liga. This season they have been superb so far with 12 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. Goals have rained in for Atletico with 38 scored and just 9 conceded. Missing for them are Leo Baptiste and Mario Suarez.

The Madrid win looks very good value indeed,  so to enhance the price it’s a simple choice between win to nil or win and both score. Elche could be overawed when Atletico come and I fancy the win to nil. Elche do not tend to create much and goals are tough for them at the moment. Five in five is not bad  but they have not faced anyone of the calibre of Atletico. Madrid have kept three clean sheets in five against Bilbao and Getafe while winning so this bet looks value. Expect the odds to drop dramatically too as the bookmakers make sweeping cuts.
