Espanyol have had a terrible start to their la liga season so far having lost all 3 of their games.  In week 1 they visited Mallorca but thanks to a late goal from Tomer Hemed came away with a 2-1 defeat.  They followed it up with another 2-1 defeat, this time at home to Zaragoza and again a late goal cost them a point.  In what must be infuriating for Espanyol fans the same thing happened in week three and this time a 2-0 lead was lost and a 93^rd minute own goal seen them lose 3-2 at Levante.

Bilbao also had a horrible start to their season, losing 5-3 at home to Real Betis in week one, then 4-0 to Athletico Madrid in week 2.  Things improved with a 2-0 win over Real Valladolid and hopefully with the transfer window now closed and Fernando Llorente now staying with the club until at least January, things should get better.
