Levante v Granada predictions and preview: Betting stats
Levante sit 7th in La Liga with 13 points from their opening 8 games (W4 D1 L3) and after a stuttering start their form has picked up (LWLWW) and at home they are unbeaten with a good draw against Atletico Madrid (their only dropped points this season) followed by wins against Espanyol, Sociedad and Valencia. So far their games have averaged 2.75 goals with half seeing over 2.5 goals and half under.
Granada are 16th with 8 points so far (W2 D2 L4) and missed the chance to win 3 on the bounce last week which puts a dent on their form of DLWWL. Away from home they have been unlucky with fixtures and saw defeats at Vallecano, Real Madrid and Barcelona followed by a good win in Mallorca. Their games have averaged fewer goals than their hosts at 2.38 but the same amount of over/under 2.5 goals.
Team News and Run of Play
Levante have no new injury worries but their opponents have three big names missing out in Floro Flores, Fran Rico and Hassan Yebda. They also have Inney Santos suspended after his red card last week.
Levante are going well in the league and are probably looking to finish around the 7th place they currently sit in. They are also looking very good in the Europa League including their 3-0 home win against FC Twente on Thursday. They are unbeaten at home in all competitions since April, amassing 8 wins and a draw in that time. For me they need to continue their good home form and away results will be helped by the confidence, as was shown by their late 1-0 win at Getafe last weekend.
Granada seem to be picking up some decent points so far this season and having already got Barcelona and Real Madrid away out of the way they don’t have those games to worry about for the rest of the season. They need to score more goals away from home for me; just two so far, the same as their opponents’ away form, isn’t good enough and it seems likely they may end up relying on good home results to keep them up.
I think Levante may experience a small ‘hangover’ from their exploits on Thursday night but I can see them having enough to see off Granada in this game. I think they’ll control possession and keep the game at a slow pace to allow their players the chance to acclimatise once against to domestic football.
Levante v Granada predictions: 1X2 betting preview
For me the statistics for this game don’t lie. Levante look very good at home, beating teams better the Granada, while Granada are struggling away from home. I wouldn’t like to call it a bet of the weekend but Levante at odds-against looks big to me and at a best price of 2.09 with Pinnacle I’ll certainly be backing the home win.

Levante v Granada predictions: Asian Handicap preview
The best price of the bet for the weekend of Levante (-0.5) doesn’t exceed the 1X2 price so it seems unlikely you will find any further value in the Asian handicap market for this game.
Levante v Granada predictions: Total Goals preview
For me I can’t see too many goals in this game. Granada’s games this season are yet to see more than 3 goals and even against Barcelona and Real Madrid they only conceded 2 and 3 goals respectively. Levante aren’t scoring a huge amount of goals either and I think a 1-0 or 2-0 win seems most likely. Under 2.5 goals is 1.73 with Stan James.
If you can’t see many goals either, bet here.
