MALAGA V BARCELONA  PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

This second leg of the Copa del Ray quarter final sees a tense match-up between Malaga and Barcelona which could go either way.

The first leg was an excellent game at Camp Nou where we saw both teams lead for a period before the game ended 2-2.  It sets us up perfectly for this return leg where whoever wins the game will be through to the semi-finals.

Malaga are struggling for form somewhat with only 1 win in their last 5 matches.  They played Barcelona at home in the league just over a week ago and succumbed to a 3-1 defeat thanks to goals from Messi, Fabregas and Thiago Alcantara.  They need to get back to winning ways at home, both for this competition in the short term and for their long term ambition of finishing top 4 in la liga.

Barcelona lost their first league match of the season at the weekend, letting a 2-0 lead slip away at Real Sociedad.  They don’t seem fazed by it at all and know the 8 point lead over Atletico at the top of the table will be more than enough to see them recapture la liga.

For this game Barcelona are strong favourites and looking at the meeting between the teams here in the league you can see why.  It will be difficult for Malaga to get another excellent result like the first leg and I expect Barcelona to win comfortably.
