1.       All though Celta Vigo has spent the money of the Aspas sale reasonably well, bringing in a handful players that got game time on match day one in the BBVA Liga, they still don’t look like a top half team

2.       Real Betis won both ties between the two last season

3.       Betis was 19 points ahead of Celta last season, and they have also has brought in several direct reinforcements to their first eleven after selling Benat. They are simply a better team

4.       Real Betis gave Real Madrid a good fight in their Primera Division opener. Celta Vigo played 2-2 at home against an Espanyol side not expected to be top half material this La Liga season
