REAL BETIS V VALENCIA PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS
Real Betis are so much better than their results suggest. Two close 2-1 losses to Real Madrid and Celta Vigo with a 0-0 away draw at Espanyol. Against Madrid in Bernabeu Betis were arguably the better side. Matching their illustrious hosts for long periods and having several clear cut chances they spurned. They were not at the races against Celta though and the game could have gone either way. The 0-0 was an ok performance but Betis looked a little jaded after a Thursday night match in Europa League. They have looked good in Europe with 2 matches so far and a 8-1 aggregate win over Czech side Jablonec. Eder Vilachao and Ruben Castro both sit out here.
Valencia could be in for a struggle this year and I would not be surprised to see them around mid table. Quality has dropped considerably at Mestalla and although they had a little run at Barce and only narrowly lost 3-2 they were not good against Espanyol and only scraped past Malaga on opening day. Centre back Pablo Piatti misses out again here and must wait for his debut.
REAL BETIS V VALENCIA BETTING TIPS
Real Betis are too big here at 2.70 with William Hill. I would put these side very evenly matched and thus would be a lot shorter Betis for the outright win with home advantage. Valencia are a lot weaker than people think and I will be opposing them a lot early on. Prices are inflated when they play anyone outside the top 6 for me so great value here.
