Real Madrid have responded well after the loss to Barcelona. Since then Los Blancos have won five and drawn 1 while scoring 26 and conceding 9! Goals galore for Real with Ronaldo netting an amazing ten goals! Real Madrid for all their great form still trail Barce and Atletico. Overall form reads 11 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats. With the losses against the top two its fair to say Madrid have been pretty dominant against the rest of the division. Out for Madrid are Khedira, Arbeloa and Coentrao. Real Valladolid know its damage limitation at Bernabau and will look to escape with a bit of pride. Expect some long defending for Valladolid who have little chance of doing anything else. Just two wins in 14 games gives them no hope here. Key midfielder Patrick Ebert misses out here and will be a loss.
The Madrid win looks a gimme and never is in danger. However will it be to nil or will Valladolid manage a consolation. Madrid have managed 3 clean sheets in the last 10; which although is not great they have faced the attacking forces of Juventus (twice) Barcelona and Galatasary. Madrid can be very open at times but against a meek Valladolid side I believe the win to nil is best value.
