Sevilla opened the La Liga season very well, but in the last eight matches they've only managed two wins. They're still in the hunt for Europa League football next season, but they got to get back to winning ways. They haven't won in the last four league games, and they have back to back 3-2 defeats. Against a very attack minded Barcelona I would dare say they need to shore up their defense, or else it can very quickly get ugly. Here they will miss Coke (solid right back) and M'Bia (Defensive Midfielder). Obviously, that doesn't help them much.

Barcelona is still going strong in La Liga. There is some turbulence surrounding the Catalan powerhouse though. There is constant debate over Messi's motivation, the coach, and them losing 3-2 at home to Valencia last match day did not do much good for them. However, they still got a shot at winning the league again. Here Alba (Left Back) and Macherano (Defensive midfielder/Central defender) will be suspended. Neymar (Attacking midfielder) sits out due to injury.

Since and including 2012 Barcelona has won four out of four matches between the two. The reverse fixture this season was won 3-2 in one heck of a game. Barca went 2-0 up before Sevilla got back to 2-2. Sanchez won the game for Barcelona way into injury time. It must be said it was a game Barcelona very much deserved to win.
