Valencia v Granada predictions

Valencia is in fine form. In their last three Primera Division matches they have kept a clean sheet, and pulled wins out of the hat. This has enabled them to fight with Real Sociedad for Champions Leagfue qualification. With two games to go that race is wide open. Valencia will in other words be very motivated here.

Granada has racked up some BBVA Liga form of their own. They're ubeaten in their last five, and have taken quantum steps towards securing La Liga action also next year. However, in theory they can still be relegated. In other words, do not expect this Granada side to roll over and die.

Alves (Keeper) as well as regular midfielder Costa and young fringe midfielder Canales are ruled out for Valencia. Parejo (Regular Midfielder) and Valdez (forward with 6 goals in 28 matches) are doubts. For Granada there are no new injuries to cope with.

The reverse fixture was won 2-1 by Valencia. At the time Granada was quite awful, and in this game Valencia really dominated.

I doubt Valencia will dominate Granada to the same degree here. Most likely will the home side see plenty of possession, but with regained confidence through a few good results like the 2-2 in Sociedad this battle is not as uneven as the odds indicate. 1.25 (1/4) for Valencia on the 1x2 is laughable at best. I don't think handicap options look interesting either. For me the value is in the draw at 5/1 (six times the money)!
