Valladolid v Valencia predictions and preview: Betting stats
Valladolid currently sit 8th in La Liga on 14 points at a record of W4 D2 L4 and their form is very similar to their record (WDLDW). At home they have managed two wins, two draws and a defeat. Their games have averaged 2.60 goals and just 4 have seen over 2.5 goals; 6 have seen fewer.
Valencia are one place below their hosts in the league but this is just on goal difference; they have the same points and record this season. Their form a inconsistent at WLWLW and this is probably due to their dismal away form. A draw against Real looked to be a good start but they have since lost 4 on the bounce. Their games have averaged slightly fewer goals at 2.50 a game with just 3 seeing over 2.5 goals; 7 with fewer.
Team News and Run of Play
Valladolid seem to have a clean bill of health while Valencia are missing Mathieu, Piatti and Canales for this fixture.
Valladolid have impressed so far this season and are currently quite a few places above their expected position so far but it is still early days. They have lost just once at home but are yet to play one of the bigger teams. They have a difficult run of games coming up and I suspect their position may slip a little, especially given the closeness of the division at this stage.
Valencia started the season rather poorly but have remained solid at home. Away from home they have really struggled but I think this week’s results of a 4-2 midweek CL victory and ending Atletico’s unbeaten run will have given the side a huge boost in confidence. Soldado and Feghouli are scoring goals but it remains to be seen whether they can do so on the road; just 1 goal from 5 games is not the record of a top 4 team.
Valladolid v Valencia predictions: 1X2 betting preview
For me, despite their poor away form and lack of goals, this past week for Valencia has been so impressive that I can see them taking the victory here. They are marginal favourites but still look like representing some good value at 2.40 with William Hill.

Valladolid v Valencia predictions: Asian Handicap preview
If you can’t see the away side quite doing enough to secure all three points then it might be worth backing them on the (0) Asian handicap which is a Draw No Bet market. If Valencia don’t secure the win and the game ends a draw then your stake is returned. Valencia (0) is 1.78 with BetVictor.

Valladolid v Valencia predictions: Total Goals preview
Valladolid’s home games have seen 3.2 goals a game but without their 6-1 demolition of Vallecano this average decreases to just 2.25. Valencia’s away games average just 1.4 goals and they have only scored once themselves. All signs point to there being few goals in this game but I believe Valencia’s run of scoring form will continue into this game and I can’t see Valladolid’s defence holding up. Over 2.5 goals is the bet at 1.95 with William Hill.
