AIK v Djurgarden predictions

AIK v Djurgarden is a classic Stockholm derby in the Swedish Allsvenskan. AIK is the better team at the moment, but lately they have let in more goals than one would expect. I think Djurgarden can capitalize on that even if they're dead last on the table after 1/3 of the season is done and dusted. They have after all won two games in a row now, so they got some positive momentum going into this mega clash.

AIK will have Nils-Eric Johansson back for this tie, but Quaison is a major doubt, and Tjaernstrom, Moro and Backman are sure to sit out. For the visitors Amartey will sit out due to his recent red card. Riddez and Jarl are both still out and Petter Gustafsson is a doubt. I can't think these teamnews will influence the outcome much.

 

AIK v Djurgarden betting tips

Actually AIK hasn't won this fixture in the last three Djurgarden visits as 0-2-1 is the bottom line as of now. The home win odds are absolutely useless at around 13/20 (1.65).

Given the derby factor,  Djurgarden's momentum, and AIK's tendency to let in quite a number of goals I much rather back the draw at 3.75 (11/4) with Betsson on the 1x2.
