Basel v Grashopper predictions
The Swiss Cup final is being played in Bern. No big injury worries for either of the number 1 and 2 Swiss Super League sides. Pavlovic (defender) is out for Grashopper, that's about it.
If you look at the most recent fixtures (2012/2013) Basel is 3-2-0, and we have all been quite impressed by their die hard attitude in European football this season. It must also be said this is their third Scweizer Pokal final in just as many seasons. However we got to factor in that most cup finals are tighter than usual league games (last season Basel played Luzern and it ended 1-1, just to bring out an example). I doubt this one will be no difference in terms of the 90 minutes of football.
Given the analysis above I don't see much value on Basel to be honest at around 1.80 (4/5). I much rather go with the draw priced at 3.50 (5/2) with Betsson. I have no idea why this draw price is so high given the nature of the game, and the strength of the teams. Fantastic value!
