Another profitable day as four out of five predictions were winners!

We hope you followed our predictions yesterday, as you would have made a nice profit when four out of five predictions won! Below is a short summary of the predictions.

Netherland v Iceland - Icemen to melt

This was our only loss of the evening, as we recommended a bet on Netherlands -1.25. It was not to be for the Dutch side, as they first got their captain Robben injured in the 31st minute and then only a couple of minutes later Indi got a red card and was sent off. Netherlands dominated the possession and attempts statistics throughout the match, but the only goal of the match came when Iceland scored on a penalty in the 51st minute. Iceland look set to qualify for the European Championship now, in the weekend they will play at home against Kazakhstan while Netherlands travel to Turkey.

Bulgaria v Norway - Norwegian Wood

Our bet was Norway +0.25 at odds 2.09, and it was a winner! Norway won the match 1-0, a deserved win as they were the best team and created the most chances. The goal was scored in the 57th minute via a smartly executed set piece, and Norway also had a couple of more chances in the second half that would have been goals if the finishing had been better. Norway is now only two points behind Italy and one point behind Croatia in the table, and on Sunday they will host Croatia in a match that will be very important for both teams. Bulgaria will travel to Italy.

Belgium v Bosnia & Herzegovina - Both score looks solid

In this match we expected both teams to score at odds 2.06, and 22 minutes into the match the bet was a winner! Dzeko opened the score sheet for B&H after just 14 minutes, and Fellaini equalized in the 22nd minute. Overall this was a very good performance by Belgium, they dominated the possession, created several chances and scored three goals, winning 3-1. B&H were not without chances either and had several scoring opportunities in the second half, but ultimately they were not able to match the goals from the likes of De Bruyne, Fellaini and Hazard. Belgium are second in the group table, three points behind Wales and two points ahead of Israel. Bosnia&Herzegovina are down in fifth place and six points behind Belgium. Next match for Belgium is away to Cyprus, while B&H will host Andorra, both matches on Sunday.

Azerbaijan v Croatia - Azeri to upset Croats

As we wrote in our prediction, Azerbaijan can be a tough opponent when they play at home, something that Croatia discovered. In the end the match ended 0-0 and so our bet on Azerbaijan +1.25 at odds 2.05 won by a good margin. Croatia dominated the possession and created several chances, but the finishing was not good enough, and so the Azerbaijan side kept their third successive Group H clean sheet match. Next up for Azerbaijan is a trip to Malta, while Croatia will play away to Norway.

Czech Republic v Kazakhstan - Czechmate

In this match we put our money on the outsider once more, and bet Kazakhstan +1.75 at odds 2.12. As expected, Czech Republic won the match after dominating both possession and the attempts stats, but it was in fact Kazakhstan that scored the first and only goal in the second half, and the Czech side did not take the win until they scored goals in the 73rd and 85th minute. The Asian handicap of +1.75 was, in other words, won by a solid margin.
