SCHALKE V HERTHA BERLIN : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIPS asian handicap

Schalke (15-6-6) have suffered just one league defeat in twelve (at Bayern), a run which has propelled them into third place, and looking good for Champions league qualification again. A good away point in the midweek Reveir derby meeting at Dortmund, the seasons end target will be on grabbing the second spot from their local rivals. Excellent home form (9-2-2) has played an important part, and they have won the last five home meetings with Hertha, the visitors here. Hertha (10-6-11) themselves have enjoyed a good season, but with no wins in their last five, including three consecutive defeats of late, it is in danger of ending on a low note. The goals have dried up, with just two scored in those last five, and worryingly three conceded in each of the last three defeats. Schalke captain Benedikt Howedes is out and fellow defenders Christian Fuchs (knee), Felipe Santana, Atsuto Uchida ( hamstring) and Jan Kirchhoff (ankle) miss out, while midfielders Jefferson Farfan, Marco Hoger and Dennis Aogo (all knee) and Christian Clemens (hip) are all still doubts.
