Groningen (13-9-11) have won their last five, and will look to make it six in this final day of the regular season. The positive run has seen them comfortably into the Europa league play-off slots, and they will go into those games as the in- form side full of confidence. Heracles (10-7-16) are safe in fourteenth, but have not won in four, losing three of those games. It is hard to see them being too motivated for this meaningless game, and Groningen have won the last four meetings of the teams to strengthen confidence in their claims of another win here. Kieftenbeld(mid) is suspended for Groningen.
