BASEL V LUZERN: PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP goals
Basel (16-15-1) have a four point cushion at the top of the Swiss league with four to play, and have lost just once all season. In their last six league games they have won four and drawn two, but have lost in the Swiss cup final and exited the Europa League. Convincing 4-0 winners at the weekend they are not a side likely to slip up, and will want to get the job completed. Luzern (14-6-12) themselves are chasing a Europa league slot, and are currently in the fourth place which would see them in. Three wins and three defeats in their last six suggests a bit of a mixture formwise, and they will obviously find it tough here as they always do.
Under 2.5 goals at 2.15(23/20)Bet365 is well worth a bet. Despite their dominance Basel often win narrowly in low scoring games, and this match could well fall into that bracket. Five of their last seven in the league have been under 2.5 goals, and six of the last Luzern games have been under the 2.5 mark. This doesn’t strike me as a game screaming of goals, and the 2.15 for under 2.5 goals should be snapped up.
